I bought this laptop at Amazon for about a week before the computer and love! And the great works, very quickly and react. It feels natural to nature and to maneuver the mouse, although I prefer a wireless mouse small. It 'a great size and weight … The sound is surprising, given the size 14.1 inches. Perfect computer for students … Highly recommended! LightScribe is impressive for your friends when they ask for a CD with music that you and the store does not fill in any time soon awesome:) A lot of pre-downloaded programs that would have a little 'time to remove up on but the computer was worth it, believe me. All in all a great buy for the price!

The ASUS N61JV is a 16-inch display laptop with all the latest bells and whistles. While its size means that it is technically a desktop replacement unit, ASUS have made the laptop very thin and mobile. At 2.8kg with a six-cell battery, it is at least two times lighter than most other laptops of the same class, most of which weigh around 7kg and above. Going for a standard corporate black look with a glossy finish the laptop looks like most other laptops, which means it looks good but doesn’t have any really stylized features. The laptop has a full keyboard, including the numeric keypad, but the main keys have been made larger for more comfort. The touch-pad is nice and large with multi-gesture features.

I have had this for 3 weeks. A lot of search queries, and actually saw at BJ's at a price slightly lower. But with the sales tax, the price of Amazon was almost identical. The only flaw to give him 5 stars is the touchpad and buttons. Many reviewers commented on this, and I agree that is horrible. But everything else is great. It seems pretty fast, and as is in Vista, I can not wait to see how can Win 7 next month. Battery life is very good. Works great for a day of notes and navigation. Even at low power. And it works pretty cool. Overall, I love it.
